“It is our goal to make foster parenting a joy and an honored place in our society.”
- Mark Fullington, Executive Director

Foster parents hold the key to the hearts of our forgotten youth and the need for people with a heart for foster children is now greater than ever.

Currently, over half a million American children are not living at home because of distressing family situations often involving abuse or neglect. The number has doubled since 1987.

Community and Family Services Foundation (CFSF),

acknowledges the crucial role that foster families play in restoring security and hope for these children.

With sufficient management, training, support and encouragement, CFSF meets the needs of our forgotten youth by meeting the needs of the foster families who care for them.

With it’s collaborative approach, Community and Family Services has won the respect of the community it serves by working with volunteers, community leaders, service providers and family members to bring about the best possible outcomes for it’s most vulnerable citizens.

The agency is devoted to giving children a seamless transition into a stable environment, while maintaining safe and appropriate connections with the families that love them.

Community and Family Services Foundation proudly serves the needs of every type of child. Ages range from birth to 18 years, and behaviors can be mild to severe (medically, emotionally, and mentally.)

For those foster parents whose compassion is equal to the challenge, we offer a wealth of experience and assistance.

Community and Family Services Foundation offers a well-established network of support for foster parents that includes…

Foster parent PRIDE training;
Additional training available as needed through our agency and DSHS;
Experienced foster parents ready to serve as consultants and mentors;
Respite parents whose sole function is to offer rest periods to the foster families;

For those interested in becoming foster parents, our licensors are available to answer any questions you may have.
